Zoom Bar and Bat Mitzvah Judaica

*    *    *

For this extraordinary young man, a Zoom Bar Mitzvah was an opportunity to chant Torah in his own home, surrounded by his nuclear family with extended family and dear friends participating through adapted technology.

ADAR Design was honored to create a scroll with the text of his Torah portion stitched into the fabric. The talit, kippot, challah cover, scroll and even the masks were designed as a set.

This cover is embroidered with the Hebrew names of the family members and the text;

"It is a tree of life for those who cling to it"

It covered the Torah text during the ceremony and will be used each Shabbat as his challah cover. It will be a very personal keepsake of the day.

The belt for the scroll is embroidered with the 10 commandments.

This talit was the first piece to be designed. All of the Judaica for his Bar Mitzvah emerged from this young man's vision.

The attarah text is from Pirkei Avot

"You are not obligated to complete the task, neither are you free to neglect it"

The kippah and bag were created to match the talit and include his Hebrew name.

For a touch of whimsy, each of the kippot given to the guests were slightly different, but all match the design theme.
